Evening chaps,

This afternoon I was driving on the M4 heading towards Reading (E) via the A329M. I noticed there were average speed cameras on the M4 at Junction 10 and was cruising just below 50mph. Leaving the M4 on to the A329M I noticed the speed go down to 40 so was going between 40-45mph (car speedometer is inaccurate by 2 mph) through that area thinking the average speed check ended. I couldn't see any average speed cameras in this area but in the back of my mind I have a feeling I should expect a brown envelope sent through the post.

I found a video online that goes through this area in the past 6 months which looked near enough identical to what I went through. Do I see a single average speed camera at the 26 second mark? I don't see one at the end.

Thanks :)

I don't think that is a speed camera at the 0:26 mark. Looks to be a normal 'cctv' type - I thought I had read somewhere that average cameras (SPECS) needed to be mounted on a gantry even in roadworks (Cant find the document to confirm though:( )

Yup I think you're right with the camera that's shown. Looks to be a mobile CCTV camera.
