Should i get a diff gaming keyboard?

Ive had all the Logitechs (g15 v1 and v2, g11) eclipse 1 and 2 and just find them, meh? all my logitechs had questionable key movement, especially on the ctrl and shift keys and i found all i used the lcd for as a clock.
So after trying all the keyboards i could in a local store and a g19 at at a lan I settled on the Microsoft sidewinder x6, its brilliant. The macro keys are easily used as additional play buttons using your pinky finger and most of all its amazing to type on.
The lycosa was very similar but the microsoft had me on thye detachable numpad that acts as a macro pad and the price, around £30.

i had trouble with my eclipse 3 aswell buttons a to h didn't work but now i got a new 1 it works fine and think its a great keyboard

tbh "gaming" peripherals are mostly a waste of time... the basic MS Optical Wheel Mouse 1.1a is still one of the best gaming mice around - despite only being 350-400dpi on an old optical sensor and only having 3buttons... and most gaming keyboard can't beat an old school mechanical (not membrane) cherry PS2 keyboard.

Recently bought a Logitech Illuminated KB to replace my ageing eclipse 1 and i'm finding it not only looks sexy but also makes a darn good gaming KB :)

I've recently got a Saitek eclipse 2, and so far have had no problems with keys malfunctioning. If that problem is limited to the 3 then perhaps you will like the 2. It feels good quality and is nicely backlit so is great for gaming and everything else. The Logitech alternatives are perhaps better especially if having more shortcut keys is important for you, but they seem quite expensive for a keyboard really and you can get an eclipse 2 for around £30.
