Should i get a RTX 3070 --- were is the 3070 love in here :)

This is the spec of my main PC , my main screen is a 240hz 1080p , yes it is only 1080p , but i have a 2560x1440 165hz g-sync screen too , but sum how i like gaming on 1080p more , think am getting old lol

Do you think getting a RTX 3070 is just not much off a upgrade ?? or should i wait and get a rtx 3080 ?? in like year 2066 when back in stock lol

cards i have in other PCs are

RTX 2060 super
GTX 980 TI Strix --- sum how this still plays all games i play fine at 2560x1440

games i play the most are
All blizzard games
world of warcraft 24/7
the division 2
The Witcher 3
Gwent
All Resident evil games

The two games i will be getting is baldur's gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077

If that's the case why spend £450-650 + on a new GPU?

Wait until end of year/early next and see what stock is like and whether or not the new games you're after need the extra performance.

RTX 3070 seems like a good bet to me. Personally, I would definately wait for AMD's next gen GPUs, which should be released by early November. AMD is likely to offer a very competive GPU for the price of the RTX 3070 or less.
