Well basically I came across a website which lets you send in your case panels to get windows installed in them.

They have a photo of what a P180 looks like with the window, which I have edited (Paint, LOL) to what I would want visible:

This will come to a grand total of approximately £70.

My question to you good people is, what do you think it will look like (Good / Bad) and is it worth it for that money?

Here is a quick photoshop job of what it could look like:

*I put the paper over the vent on the GX2 because I didn't want to be recycling the hot air into my case. It actually brought the GX2s core temps down. (And I'd take it off if I got a window, cause it would look silly)

Not a bad photoshop picture to represent what you want to do there. I say do it but put some cool looking lights inside or something to jazz it up a little. Id personally stop the window before you reach the fan instead of after (it just doesn't look too interesting to me)

I just don't want to make it too small - because it will just look weird.

I definitely don't want to be able to see the cluster of cables in the bottom compartment - so I can't really go down anymore.

Also, I'd be putting some green cathodes in there somewhere if I got this done.

Only thing stopping me is the price tag - I have some other things lined up.

Wouldn't you lose the 200mm fan for that window?

If thats the case, then no, it isn't worth imo.

However, aesthetically I think the window looks nice (if done well).
