Should I get a Xbox 360 new or used?

I want to get a 360 for GTA4 later this month.

Is it worth buying a 360 Premium brand new? I believe it has a HDMI socket so I can use any HDMI cable? Also, I've heard of a new chipset meant to be cooler than the last. In that case, are all brand new 360s fitted with this new chip?

What's the warranty like? Are MS still dishing out those extended warranty for that 3 red light issue?

As someone stated a popular place is selling them (Premium) with GTAIV sometime soon for only £199

Most if not all have HDMI and that new cooling thing (175w?)

3 years warranty from MS, I think it's 1 year then extra 2 are for RRoD but somebody might correct me

Would definitely go for new - even with the 3 year RROD warranty you only get until December this year if you buy a launch day console!!!

If you've bought it off the site im curretly looking at, then you've got your maths wrong! Console is £189.98 + £37.98 for the game, but it says you get a £10 discount if you buy them together, therefore costing you £217.96.

If you've got your maths right, email in trust ;)
 
If you get it new that means when it goes wrong in the first six months (more than likely it will) you can take it straight back to the retailer and exchange it rather than waiting 3-4 weeks for MS to fix it.
