Personally no, unless you plan to play Promod...

If you want to play public, Black Ops is a more suitable game.

Ok medal of honor you must use cover or else you will get eliminated. So now if you use these tactics in MW2 you become the awseome one (understood).

Yes although the innovations made by mw2 and black ops make cod4 look slightly old hat nowadays.

Or is it just more pure? I think its better for it.

Stay away from the promod servers and you will miss most of the "elite" players. Actually, most of the people that play on them are poo anyways.

I would say that the single player for that game was worth a tenner so if you can get it for this the mp will be a bonus.
