so basically ..i have a galaxy S2...hating it right now with the crappy battery life...rubbish android apps and games..and its temps.

reckon i should downgrade to an iPhone 4?

never had iphone ever in my life =/
so i dunno if its better.

any1 care to tell me the downside of it? compared to galaxy S2?

i heard it has better battery life, better apps and games

It does have better battery life, better apps and better games, yes.

But the iPhone 5 is out in 2/3 months so you might want to wait.

If you use the iPhone 4 a lot though, it will still go flat pretty quickly, not much you can do about that.

yh, but then it will cost like £500-600? i think?

and i would only go £450 max =/

thing i hate about S2 is its battery, kinda stupid...i play 1 game, takes up 5-10% of battery life.
also, when i play a game, it get HOT!? i mean like 40-50 degrees. kinda annoying to hold and play.

heard that android is better, so i got it, only to find out it sucked more than iphone.

Well, the iPhone 5 will cost the same as what the iPhone 4 costs new.

You can't say things like "I play 1 game and it takes up 5-10% of the battery" without saying how long you've been playing it for... :p

I just get the feeling you're trolling, sorry.

You are obviously clueless so shouldn't really be deciding what 'sucks' and what doesn't.

How do you know it sucks more than Iphone as you said you havent had an iphone either.

Really depends on your usage. I get about 2.5-3 days out of my sgs2. some browsing facebooking ebook reading calls and texts thats pretty good imo. Not really tried games yet but on my Ipod they fair zap the battery so I'd expect them to do the same on the iphone. but hey if you aint happy with the sgs2 then change it no point being stuck with something you dont like. Like said ab ove though rumours iphone 5 will be out in sept. So why get old tech.

I just sold my iPhone 3GS to get an iPhone 4 even if the iPhone 5 comes out I will then sell the iPhone 4 later to upgrade to the iPhone 5. hopefully when iOS5 comes out it will be worth the upgrade in terms of faster hardware/software update.

Yup, sounds like an apple fanboy having a dig at android, he probably doesn't even have the GS 2, let alone ever tried one out or read any of the good things about it, just the bad things.

The GS 2 is one of the best, actually probably THE BEST smartphone for battery life, judging from all of the user and expert reviews that I have read.

Most of the apps are better quality in terms of functionality, maybe most of the official apps aren't as well polished as the apple ones in terms of the UI and the games are better for the iphone, however android is getting a lot better in that area now IMO.

And LOL, I thought you went for an iphone 4 in the end ;)

The battery was always one of the worst aspects about my previous iPhones. Not only was the battery life similar to my Android handsets but if you forget to charge overnight you are completely screwed if you are out for the day. With my Desire, Arc and SGSII (when it arrives :D) all I do is pop the spare battery in. If I want a few days worth of power then I can take both batteries.

But as said, the OP sounds either completely clueless or he's a troll.
