Should I get new mouse?

I have a Razor Death Adder which has been awesome for me these past few years but as it is getting old, I think the mouse wheel has broken(?) I can't seem to scroll up and down a page without it jumping around weirdly or even go in the opposite direction. I have tried opening up the mouse and cleaning the innards but to no avail. Any ideas to what can be done or just bite the bullet and get a new mouse?

I would say if you've found a comfortable mouse shape for you, don't stray too far from it when you replace it.
