Should I go from a 16ms screen to a 16ms screen?

For the last three years I've used a BenQ FP767v2 TFT. It's served me very well and still works fine. However, I would like a widescreen TFT and have decided that the Dell 2007WFP is the one for me. Is it a move I should be considering since both offer 16ms response time?

The BenQ has been a great monitor for me but it's disappointed me a little in RTS games when you scroll from side to side rather quickly and see quite a bit of blurring. I know the 2007WFP has a far better panel but in terms of response time would I see any improvements at all?

I don't really fancy one of the 2/5ms response monitors as I don't want another TN panel and would rather have one that offers better colour production.

I dunno why Dell quote the 2007WFP as 16 ms, that's the ISO measurement and the panel is 8 ms GTG, but they don't mention this distinction, so they're selling it short. I can assure you the Dell is a very quick screen, quicker than my 8 ms GTG LCDTV and quicker than the 8 ms SM913B I used to own. IIRC when Baddass reviewed the Dell he found it a tad quicker than the SM205BW which is 6 ms GTG. It might not be quite as quick as the 2/3ms TN screens with their masses of overdrive, but you do get excellent viewing angles and colours with the Dell.

I've never been dissapointed with the speed of the screen, including playing some very quick games on it (UT2004, Fear, plenty of racing games etc).
