I used custom install for them so dont have them associated with anything or nay running processes etc but just wondered, I use MPC as default movie player and MPUI to watch up to 1920HD content with no slowdowns - kinda put into perspective if I should just install the alts and ditch the big installations of the real/apple versions ?
Anyone had nay issues with any sites not displaying real/quicktime content after installing the alts?

- realised that with quicktime alt I would lose quicktime VR functuality which I use a lot for my panoramic photos
