yes, you should.. assuming your motherboard is a Via chipset one
The Hyperion driverset will include a GART driver, which will increase performance for your AGP card.
If you have the wrong end of the stick however, and are asking if you need to install the drivers purely for the graphics card, then no, you don't. Check out the AMD/ATI site for the correct device drivers
I mean i have tryed some hyperion drivers but i think its causing problems with rendering as i get shimmering so i am on the microsoft gart driver at the mo. I was hoping to get other agp users with perhaps a x1950pro or similar card and board and tell me what they were using.
What motherboard do you use? you should be installing the AMD/ATI drivers for that agp gfx card. The VIA drivers are motherboard drivers and nothing more. If you have a VIA chipset on your motherboard then install them then install the AMD/Ati drivers for your gfx card.
I know all this. I just wanted to know which version is the best of the hyperion drivers to use for my board and gfx card. Specifically which agp gard driver for the mb to use.
