Should I keep or Flog?

Have just got a new Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pro V2040 and am wondering should i keep hold of it and flog on my Advent 7038? or keep my Advent and flog the Fuji?

Pros for keeping Advent are the nice 15.4" widescreen and the fact that, although quiet old (2+ years), I can play FS2004 on it.

Pro for the Fuji are that it is new (shiny) and if what i read online is true, it has a dual layer dvd writer (advent one refuses to write to any media over 2.4 speed)

So, am in a bit of a quandry and need someone to help play devils advocate with me

May as well keep it tbh. You could use it for testing stuff, networking etc.

Networking is an option, but work away from home for the week and Mrs S is not that bothered about having a home network.

Is there anyway of comparing the performance of the two in some real world tests. Have thought of putting 3dmark and syssoft sandra on them and seeing what that does, but dont really want to put anything on the fuji in case i does get sold
