Im currently with twang.net and get 50 gb dl allowance a month, my speed is about 2400kbps down and 360kbps up according to test tho it does go to like 512k speed sometimes through the day which im annoyed with. Also recently ive been having problems with msn messenger as in it wont connect and neither will msn.co.uk and a few other sites, i asked my isp to look into it but they said they cant do anything with it.

Im on a monthly contract with them, and my friend keeps telling me to move isp as its more likely the isp giving me trouble than line.

So i rang up Be unlimited today (very noisy connection btw is it just me or is that normal with them?) and i enquired with them about what id get from them, they said i could get up to 5mb speed and 1meg upload speed (better than im getting and cheaper at £18 as they recommended me the unlimtied package probably due to speed, also i asked for a static ip so assume unlimited has 1 and isnt extra???

They told me even with migrating its a £24 connection fee so thats going to be in the first month its costing me £42.99 which is a bit much at the mo so ill have to save that up first before i can switch over. I asked about downloading and i mentione 50gb and 100gb a month and he seems sure i can do that so thats a plus as i like fan made movies and demos a lot which can get quite high on dls per month. Tho some months i hardly dl a thing lol.

So should i move over, i mean the guy spoke okish english on the phone but i dont want a repeat of aol with indians and pakistan type ppl where i cant understand them and they nor me which means support is effectivly useless to me. As with twang i had instant connection on the phone to them and always helped me loads. Also no phone automation or ques. But i had a automation thing with Be just now when enquiring about there services and with that it was a noisy line with crackling which really worrys me.

Btw with Be i can use my own router if i want yeah? They dont force the Be box on you do they?

So advice me please weather i should go or stay and count myself lucky what i have with twang?

Btw my line att is somit like 52 these days but the noise power thing goes from 11 on a good day down to like really low or -1 sometimes, i duno if this is isp depending or will be like that with any isp, im NOT on llu with twang but will be with Be so i was hoping llu might help with some connection things as well as its diff equipment isnt it at the exchange?
