ok my vega 64 really needs a repaste .. it's got a water block on it .. now here's the kicker
the hex screws wont come out there's 14 of them .. there just stripping .. do i get the Dremel out and make them flat heads ?
it's hitting 105.3c on the hotspot and shutting down .. tried lowering the voltage which works for about an hr or so but the heat builds up ..
can't really afford £600 on a new card ..
lol i'll leave it up to you guys .. yes or no ..

I would look at other options first, high chance to slip with a Dremel.

Do you definitely have the right size driver and is it undamaged?

At you sure is a paste issue, could it be the flow is restricted due to debris build up.
 
Try using a torx key first. Then try other means. I'm not familiar with the fitting, but there are other ways to remove bolts using adhesive or solder. Not sure if plausible in this scenario though.

fans and rads are clean .. was first thing i did .. it's been in there quiet a while now .. could be it's just dyeing ..

tried everything i have wera drivers .. the block is from Bykski so i'm thinking cheap chinese steal and a long time in case .. :(
