Should I overclock my Ryzen 5 2600 or buy a new CPU?

Currently playing hell let loose, while I average over 60 fps it does sometimes drop below that. Running the game at 1440p I feel it's my CPU that's letting me down. Is it worth trying to overclock my current Ryzen 5 2600 to see if that makes any difference, at least make the game a bit more stable, or should I just buy a new cpu?
