Should I pro or should I wait??

Ive been a widows xp home user since I got an XP system and whant to know if it wont be a wasye to upgrade to pro now? or better wait for vista to get good and move on from xp.
I do know that eventually you have no choice but im thinking would it be ok for a year or two?

i think i read somewhere that xp will still receive updates till 2010, i could be wrong though.

also if your upgrading the OS it would be a better jump to go from xp home to vista in my book, all depends what your specs are, and that you can get all the drivers for your hardware.

The only real advantage of Pro (that i know of) over home is that it has better networking tools, and can use pro to join domains, whereas on home you cannot.
