i mean i m still uner 1.5V, the overclock above havent really been check for stability just done 1 hour of prime95 and passed. But should i puish for more? i mean i m only on stock cooling....

You should always push for more. :p

In all seriousness though; volts are low, so if temps are good then go for it.

Unless it take a big voltage increase to increase core speed then id keep going. I dont exceed 40 degrees load with my 3700 and thats running at 3.1ghz with 1.54v in it. (30 idle cooled by xp120 and vantec stealth)

Why've you got funkeh oriental characters for the start button? Is it simply for the funk factor or is it funktional (HAHHHHAAAAAHAAAAAHAAAAA..... :o )?

Empty that recycling bin man !!!!!!! :p
Also, go for that 3ghz :D

lol u spotted it! lol, yea i m not sure about my temperature

here :

i think the sensors on my mobo must be faulty. I mean the system temp is always over 50, and thats idle for CPU. is taht a little too high?

Is that with stock cooling on the chipset? On the CPU you don't really want it going much higher than that. 55+ is danger zone.

yea on the chip set its jsut a heat sink with no fan. I m pretty sure its faulty, this baord is full of faults.

1st ) onboard gfx card dont run any 3d stuff or it crashes
2nd) suspecting temperature
3) USB thingies dont work for front panel

lol, never getting foxconn again

Nice overclock! If its stable try pushing for more until it becomes unstable then back down to the next most stable speed. Also like some others have said if you need to put the vcore up by a nice amount just for a few Mhz then its not really worth it.

But definately run prime95 for longer than an hour, just to make sure its stable.

First off, get a 40mm fan on the chipset!

Theres an akasa one on here for a few quid and get the arctic freezer 64.

Then push for 3ghz

lol..

I saw the thread title and I was going to just post..

"yes.. obviously"

but you sort of beat me to it!

Thermalright SI-120, then get a good 120mm fan to go on top of it. With the addition of a fan contoller you could control the speed and therefore noise of it aswel - meant to be one of the best heatsinks.

Other than that theres the, scythe ninja, arctic cooling 64 pro all good coolers
