should i push my rig??

i have a q6600 runing at 3.3Ghz, an abit ip35 pro and geil black dragon memory.

It runs at 30/34 idle and 68is under full load all 4 cores. Is it wise to increase the cpu to about 3.6 ghz as i would like this speed. My vcore is at 1.4v at the moment. any help would be great

Try it, you may need a little more vcore. run prime & if the temps are too high for your liking lower your clock

I've found that most Q6600's need 1.5V+ to do 3.6GHz stable. That will inevitably run quite warm. The question is really 'do I mind idle temperatures of 50C and load temperatures of 75C?' If the answer is no, then go for it.

It's all down to cooling capacity really. But it won't start to get flakey until you hit 95C+(!)
