Should I RMA?

I have a weird squealing/beeping noise when I run PRIME95, a CPU intensive program.

Games SEEM to run fine as does everything else. The motherboard ran PRIME fine for about 40-50 minutes, i did not try for longer.

The noise seems to be coming from a choke on the motherboard (doughnut thing with copper wire coiled around it), or a capacitator.

My question is, should I rma the board? I also have a zalman cooler installed to reduce noise.

Thank you for your time.

It can be difficult to tell where the noises come from sometimes.

It may not be a hardware fault.

My friend had a GFx card that had the same type of noise thing going on - turned out to be a software (driver i think) issue.

what motherboard do you have? as i remember asus a8v motherboards (very early editions) had issues with capacitors i believe (or it could be another motherboard  )
