Hey guys, I have noticed the 9800GTX+ has appeared on EVGA's step up program however it is currently backordered. I am going to email them to see if they can confirm the price of the step-up card so that I can compare it to my 9800GTX cost which I believe is minus the Vat so it would in essence be around 163Euro's. SO that is a value of 163 Euros towards the GTX+ however I suspect the price of the GTX+ will be around 199! IF there is a negligible difference within the cost should I just step up for the heck of it?
I mean it will technically be a newer card and thus hold a greater resale value and also it's on the new 55nm manufacturing process so should be less power hungry and cooler etc....
To be fair I think I know the answer already but what kind of value do you think I could grab on the card in resale as I know the 9800GTX will probably only get me less than £100 due to the fact its been used.
p.s 260GTX is 369Euros which is of course out of the the question!
