i got a asus direct cu11 2gb. nut im struggling to find a motherboard to crossfire them with im using a 1156 board. i thinking of selling it and getting a 6970 ref card so i can watercool it. or am i just wasting my money

aah ok so its a 6950, thank you MD for clearing it up, personally i would think it was a waste of time, for the extra performance upgrade, its not worth it for the price
 
sell both 2nd hand should get close to 350-400 for the pair put the rest towards a 7970, unless your ofc desperate to run on water. in that case you will still be spending about the same amount of money for a loop.

So sell and get a 7970 :-P

obv didnt read thread properly, they only have 1 gpu not 2
 
yes i only have the 1 gpu . im not paying 400plus for 7970 when the wouldnt be major differance in crossfired 6950s flashed to 6970s
