the bits in red are what I've edited out

Hello
My name <senders fullname>
I''m really interested in your VOLVO and i will like to know if you still have it for sale. What is your last price of selling and the state of condition of the VOLVO? Send pics if also avilable for proper viewing and i would be very glad if you can get it sold to me.Preffered method of payment is United Kingdom Certified Bank Cheque or Banker's Draft ? which would CLEAR in your bank account within 1 to 2 working days.Kindly email me back if it's still for sale.

Cheers

so I sent a reply saying to make me an offer yada yada yada, then I got this reply (after a couple of hours so it didnt seem automated)

Hello Firstname , Surname
I want you to know that is my wife that want to make use of the car, am sending it to her in belfast ireland, also my associate will issue payment cheque or banker's draft to you including the excess found for the shipping company that will come for the collection of the car... Cheque will surely clear into your bank account withing 2 t0 3 days, after you got the cheque clear in your bank account you have to deduct your own money out of it and send the remaining fund to the shipping company in united kingdom, so that they can come for the collection of the car....get back to me today so that i can inform my associate to carry on with the payment cheque or banker draft. and i want to make everything possible before end of this month...
Get back to me with your details required,
which include..:-
FULL NAME...
ADDRESS...
PHONE NUMBER...
For more enquiries you might need, contact me by via email....Also my contact address is <Streetname town>Salisbury Wiltshire SP5 5BU UK .. I will be glad if my desire is treated with due urgency and good faith.

Best Regards...

should I trust him or ignore the email?

thought as much , next I'll be getting one that says "I'll pay you £1m and you transfer the rest to my cousins sister to Bagdad" ;)

When I was selling my Jeep a few months back, I got quite a few emails like this. In a nutshell it's other companies like Auto Trader albeit smaller offering car selling services. Usually at a lot higher price as well
