I know it's a good game & all; I tried the open Beta solo and really enjoyed it.
I've never properly given it a go as I'm worried about it asking too much time from me. I paid full price for BG3 and haven't got into because it takes an hour to "get going" each time.
My mates and I play multiplayer for a few hours once a week - stuff like The Ascent, Helldivers or (mostly) The Finals. They work for us because it's quick in & out fun; lots of value in a few hours, no big deal if we don't play again for two weeks.
Would Arc Raiders fit into this kind of play schedule?
