Should I update my bios?

Hi,

I have the XFX 780i SLI mobo with an old bios (P03). Will I gain anything by updating the bios to P08? The only issues I have is that I have to set my multiplier manually in bios and if I use sleep mode, the CPU fan speeds up faster when the PC wakes up. Is there any major fixes i'm missing out on?

There should be a complete list of changes in the release notes for each bios, if none of them reference your problems then it shouldn't make any difference.

Unless you need it for new CPU support i would leave it alone, if all its doing is speeding the fan up then dont bother.
