I am still living in a cave with my VGA monitor! I am pretty happy with it, but am wondering if I am missing something?

It is a Acer AL1916W 1440x900 monitor with an 8ms response time and a 500:1 contrast ratio. Am I living in the dark ages? I think it does the job, but I have a 9800GTX duel DVI GPU and I feel it is being wasted. Should I be looking at something like this?

Looks a great buy! My budget is about £150. I dont rly mind about the size as long as it is = or bigger than my current 19". Wall mountable would be cool, but by no means is it important!

Its OK. But I'm wondering what I'm missing, after all- a have a duel DVI GPU that goes over HD and want to make the most of it!!!

Also, a difference from 500:1 to 20000:1 must be great!

If you're happy with it then by all means stick with it, but i've been using a similar model for a while and i got the chance to try out an LED Backlit one, it was okay until i started doing my normal stuff on it - the colours are completely different even for websites such as OCUK.

I'll have to see some with similar specs in the flesh to see what I think. It would be nice to go HD and make the most of my graphics card.

contrast ratio is a gimmick tbh. Most, If not all monitors with over 1000:1 contrast ratio uses dynamic contrast ratio.
