So I am going to order a Gigabyte 780TI, been saving up for a bit now and decided to finally do it.
However I been wondering about my motherboard it is this one:
1 x Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £136.99

Is it recommendable upgrading that first before the graphics card?
If so, some follow up questions are, How hard is it to change over a motherboard?
Is there any recommendations?

If not and the board is good enough to last me a longer period then all good.

Theres no need to upgrade that board if its working ok tbh. Whack the card in and enjoy more fps in games. An ivy bridge setup will last you a good few years yet.

Yep, just unscrew the current card, detach the power cables, you may also have to push down a little retaining tab on the pcie slot as well so the card will just pull free from the slot. Then your good to install the 780.

You may need to flash the motherboards bios to the latest version as Gigabyte boards in particular seem to be picky when it comes to pci-e 3.0 cards. If you get a black screen after installing the new card then you need to flash the bios.
