Been fighting myself over last week with the above question and would be grateful for a gentle pointer or tbh a violent push in the right direction.
The reason for upgrade is same as everyone else... BF3, Skyrim, etc and wanting the best from my pc.
I currently have a Coolermaster Cosmos S Case, IP35 Pro Q6600 @ 3.3ghz and 4gb ram. GPU is a ATI 5850. Raided raptors for C: and a 500gb WD for games etc.
So question is do I "need" to upgrade the lot... Mobo bundle, graphics and SSDs or just do a GPU upgrade and wait?
Money is tight but there if really worth the upgrade.
