Hey guys I am using windows 7 32bit my current specs are as follows,
amd 6000+ dual core
2gb 667mhz ram

now I just brought these
Intel Core i5 750 2.66Ghz (Lynnfield) (Socket LGA1156) - OEM
Asus P7P55D LE Intel P55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard
Patriot Sector 5 Viper II 4GB (2x2GB) PC3-12800 1600MHz Dual Channel + 3D Mark Vantage (PVV34G1600LLKB)

Would it be worth upgrading to 64bit when I receive my new parts or will I not see much performance difference?
I will mainly be using it for gaming:D
thx

I pretty much see 64 bit as a must now. With 4GB you'll be needing 64bit to use all of it, otherwise 32bit would restrict you.

I can't see you having trouble with internal drivers, it just depends if you use any old extra crap like webcams and things because I sometimes find a problem with drivers for 64 bit so might be best to check first, or if you dont care just upgrade that sort of stuff :D

Only thing I've had problems with is using my telescopic camera which I use to look at fossils, apart from that no problems at all.

32 bit doesnt utilise all of your 4gb of ram so id definitely upgrade just to get your rams worth!

32 bit is a dying breed! With i7 and 1156 mobo etc.. you really want 64bit for ultimate performance!

yeah same here i went to 64 bit not much difference in performace on the operating system but you need it for more memory .
