I'm useless with tech, so I hope someone can help me decide quickly :D, I am about to buy the Witcher 3 & was wondering If I should take advantage of the offer to get it free with a new card, I currently have the Gigabyte GTX 680 Windforce should I upgrade? (money isn't really a concern) its more about If its worth upgrading or If its the right time to do it. (& if so which card to buy as I have no clue about the differences between them :p )

(as I said I am a tech noob, I don't run sli & I don't overclock, Id really appreciate some help)

Wait for the game to come out and read the reviews then.

I appreciate what your saying, but Im not getting it just for the 1 game, I play lots of games ;) the Witcher is just the next one on the buying list :p (& Ive seen enough vids to know ill enjoy it :D )

Has something been said that states the 390X is coming out in June? Awesome if they are.

Nothing official, but all the latest rumours point to an announcement for the lower cards on the 18th and the 390X reveal on the 24th with cards available about a week or two afterwards.

That Asus R9 290x looks pretty good and the 295 deal was again tempting....but are there going to be suicidal price drops on R9 29x series coming up??

Wait and see what AMD have to offer. You current card is still capable of playing the latest games

What resolution are you running? If you're still at 1080P I'd wait and see how your current 680 fairs, you may be pleasantly surprised...

I think he means wait for the reviews so you can also see how the cards and the brands perform,

You should wait for the 300 series to release if for no other reason than to see what effect it has on prices. It may reduce 980 prices as well as 290/290x peices. If you do go for a 290/290x don't take the risk of falling fowl of the heat issues the aftermarket Asus and MSI versions can suffer from. Play it safe and spend a little more on a Sapphire model.

While the Titan X maybe flagship you need too ask do you have a stupid amount of money too waste on a graphics card before recommending it. 290X or a 970 would off much batter price too performance and with the new AMD cards coming out in June a few bargains maybe available then

Thanks for all the posts, Ive decided to just buy the game & take the majority of advice which is to wait on the card. the Titan was tempting but I cant really justify spending that amount on a card while working so much (just don't get as many gaming hours these days :( )
