Brought my last PC bits from OCUk back in October 08,and got a cracking deal with 10% off, free delivery and I think at the time memory, cpu's were a lot cheaper then they are now:

I have recently addes 2 x 1TB SAMSUNG HD103SJ hard drives.

What could, should I look at upgrading to improve performance?

What do you use your PC for?
If its gaming then the gfx card is obvious choice
If its photoediting etc then adding more RAM would help
Have you OCd your CPU already?
And what sort of upgrade budget have you got in mind?

Gaming so was thinking GFX card possibly, got a few hundred ££'s to spend, have OCd the processor before but it Bad Company 2 does not linked overclocked CPU's.

Errm that doesnt sound right, maybe your OC wasnt stable? A game cannot tell if a CPU is OCd or not
As above get the 6950 and if you like flash it to a 6970 (see the thread in gfx forum)

Get a new GPU as advised above that is the best way to improve your gaming performance and give you near 6970 performance, everything else is fine for now.

Completely agree that a GPU upgrade would give you the best upgrade for gaming on that PC. Just another thing to throw into the mix - what screen are you running at the moment? 22 and 24 inch screens are so cheap at the moment (provided you don't mind the TN screen, which for gaming would be fine) that a screen and GPU upgrade could be on the cards for your budget and should give a very happy late Christmas present for yourself.
