Ok, I've had my current pc for a little over 3 years now and only really been changing my memory and gfx card druing this time.
Processor: i7 860 @ 4Ghz using watercooling.
Mobo: 1156 MSI P55A Fuzion: Great board, dual pci-e at proper speeds too
Memory: 8gb Avexir 1600
Gfx: EVGA GTX580, with accelero air cooler
PSU: Silverstone 1200w
I do play a fair bit of games at 1920x1080 and haven't noticed much slow down even with the latest games. I use adobe creative suite a lot so the i7 is handy particularly when doing video encoding.
Is it time to upgrade?
1)Should I upgrade the cpu and mobo? (I'm still confused about the main improvements between haswell and ivybridge so would go for either)
2)Get another 580gtx? (3gb flavour?)
3)Get a 670 or similar?
4)Or get a totally new cpu, mobo and gfx setup?
5) Or wait for a bit.......
