Should I upgrade?

So I'm having the itch to make an upgrade or two to my system, up to £300 or so to spend.

My Current specs.
Processor - i5 2500k running at 4.2ghz
Cooler - Aplenfohn K2 Mount Doom
Motherboard - Gigabyte P67-UD3-B3
RAM - G-Skill 8GB (4x2GB) DDR3 1600mhz Ripjaws
GFX - Geforce GTX 660
HDD - Samsung 840 Series 250GB 2.5 inch SATA Solid State Drive
Case - CM690ii windowed

My main use is for gaming, mainly wow but occasionally the odd more graphically intensive game. I'd love an excuse to upgrade the motherboard, but would I get any kind of performance upgrade from that?

All advice appreciated :)

Thanks,
Phil

I'd recommend one of these:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gainward GeForce GTX 770 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £299.99
1 x Asus HD 7970 Matrix Platinum 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE Games **FREE SHIPPING** £269.99
1 x MSI HD 7970 Twin FrozR OC BE 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE GAMES £259.99
1 x Asus HD 7970 DirectCU II TOP 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE Games **FREE SHIPPING** £233.99
1 x HIS HD 7950 IceQ BOOST 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (H795QC3G2M) **Voltage Unlocked** £185.99
Total : £1,249.94 (includes shipping : FREE).

Upgrading your motherboard wouldn't be a great idea now, but it would allow you to overclock your CPU further (4.5-4.7). I'd think about saving up for Haswell or better still, Broadwell once it's released. FYI - The ASUS ROG 7970 is a stunning card and at this price a bargin!!

Thanks for the suggestions, so you think I would get a noticeable improvement from a gfx upgrade?

I should mention I have a nvidia 3d setup and whilst I really only use it occasionally, I would probably prefer to stick with nvidia cards for this reason.
