hello hello

I am currently trying to sell my GTX770 2gb but no one seems to want it. im only asking for £150 and it comes with a 2year warrenty plus backplate but anyway my question is as i can not sell it should i .......

1. buy a single GTX 970
2. sli GTX770

I game at 1080P if that helps

What are your full system specs. The 770 is still a capable card reaching 60FPS on most games. What games do you play? Which monitor do you have as you may be limited to 60hz. Do you have an SSD?

ok so full specs

Monitor is a 24 inch 1080p 144hz monitor

Desktop :
Intel i7 4790k
Vengeance Pro Series Red 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz
Kingston HyperX 3K Series Rev 3.0 120GB SSD for the OS
1 TB hybrid Drive for storage
GTX770 EVGA 2gb
Corsair AX760 80+ Platinum 760 Watt Modular

does that help

if i was you i would save the money and keep what you have, the system is fine for gaming and the 770 is still a good gpu to use.

doing a processor\cpu\motherboard upgrade will not improve anything much and to be honest i don't think getting a 970 over a 770 with make much of a difference for the amount it would cost you

^Agreed, system is fine for now. I would look to upgrade the graphics in about a year or two

That's a bit of a stretch? I'm hoping to replace my 780 this year, it's starting to struggle here and there maxing games out on ultra with a at 2x... Dragon Age Origins brought it down until I knocked a couple of settings to high.

So yea... I am hoping Nvidia release their new cards this year and I'll upgrade then.

ya think i will skip this current release of GFX cards and hold out for the next batch if i can
