am considering some kind of upgrade on my pc. currently i have a
asus P8Z68Z-V GEN3
Intel core i5 2500K oc to 4.5
8gb of Kingston HyperX DDR3 memory
Nvidia geforce 670 gpu
250gb crucial ssd
1tb hard drive

all works great but am thinking about the future games that are coming! is it worth upgrading the entire thing and purchasing a new gaming pc (my budget is around £800 to £1000)? or would it be better to upgrade mobo and processor plus gpu? or ....... just upgrade to a nice new gtx970 and save my money as the rest is all fine? am just concerned about bottleneck with the processor if i change the gpu.

quite happy with kb and mouse. i use a saitek cyborg and a RAT7. as to monitor its a 22 inch acer 1920x1080. not huge i know but perfect for my gaming in corner of living room...... and i am getting steam link in october so will be able to play on living room tv then! so you think no other upgrade really needed then? just gpu? bit of a waste doing the others really? just want better gaming framerates etc, and am thinking about star citizen if that ever gets released! (its hanger demo is a bit choppy on my current build)

thanx for the quick advice! any tips on which card would be best buy at the mo? i prefer nvidia and have been perusing the 970 range. would one of those be my best buy or maybe use extra cash to go up a level?

its quite an old case, coolermaster mystique! its a pain as it has a drive cage at the front, but it takes my current msi gtx 670 easily with an inch to spare. have poewer to burn really as i upgraded psu last year to a corsair cx750

just had the measurning tape out actually, current card is 26cm long! with about an inch free before i am against the drive cage. a new case does appeal, but dunno if i want to go throught the business of taking this apart and then putting back together lol.... maybe in the future! what cards do you consider best bang for back? 970s or higher?

quite like the msi card! might go for it soon. silly question, but is it possible to run a 970 and my old gtx670 is sli? (i think the answer will prob be no!). anyway thanx for all the advice and help
