Should I upgrade?

Hi guys, I'm thinking of getting a 1080ti and want to know if I should be upgrading my 4790k cpu at the same time or can I hold off until next year to do this? I use my PC primarily for gaming with a little video content creation thrown in.

The 4790k is still a excellent cpu. Even more when overclocked. No need to replace it any time soon.

Definitely keep what you have, it's pretty much as good as anything else, especially for gaming.

Overclock it if you haven't already though.
