Spec is in my sig, and im wondering if i should change my E6750, currently sat at 3.2Ghz for an E8500 as im wondering if the E6750 is bottlenecking my 8800GTX SLI setup. By the time i flog the E6750 its gonna be an £80 - £90 upgrade which to me dosent seem worth the cost.

The 6750 is still a good chip. Why not try pushing the overclock further first and see if you can gain any extra performance for free. I've played with 2 6750s and both did 3.6 with around 1.45 volts. Maybe I was lucky but if you havnt already its worth a try...

I tried overclocking my E6750 to 3.5ghz but when I ran prime it gave me an error after 1 second. My RAM is only 800mhz (PC2-6400) so is that holding me back or do i need to play around with the volts ?

Well id up the CPU volts to 1.45v, should help, and depending on your mobo you may be able to run the RAM independantly of the CPU
