Should i wait for 2007fpw or just get a 2005fpw?

Hi Guys,

I desparately wanna upgrade my 19" ilyama CRT, and have decided that a 20" widescreen tft is the what i want. Looking around the forums the dell 2005fpw seems best.

I was just wondering if i should wait for the 2007fpw? Will it be better?
And what exactly is HDCP compliant????

Also i have a 6800 GT AGP card, is this ok for this size monitor.

PS: will the newer model be more expensive?

I'm personally waiting, wouldn't want to risk to get a bad backlight bleed one only to find the 2007 is just weeks away.

thanks man, but i read somewhere that the 3007fpw has limited connectivity? is this true? and does that mean anything to me bearing in mind i only have a 6800 gt?

For a 20" widescreen you will be OK with a 6800GT, but dont think you'll be avle to run max details in games, you'll probably be able to play medium details id imagine.

i'm in the same position and am wondering if i should get a used one offered to me for £250 or get the new one for likely £400?

not sure they'll be a great deal of difference
