I have been out of the scene for a long time and I am after some advice. my next build would be a 3570k and a 7950. The plan was to use my existing case (antec 1200 which I know is not ideal) and just cool the cpu, then later on down the line buy a bigger case and a second 7950. I would love to hit 4.5ghz on the cpu and from what I have read that is best done with a large aircooler or under water. So would I be better fitting a 240 rad in my case or waiting till I have sufficent funds for a more ideal case and watercool the lot cards and all.

Thanks.

Do it:)

I've got a antec 300 the orginal one I've got a 240mm in there get a good pump and you'll easily expand if you do get another case:)

Thanks for the replies! Liquidfire have you got a picture of your case? Would love to see how you set that up.

Let me have a quick dust around and ill post a pic :D

You'll have to excuse the non modular psu I've done the best I can with cables.(can't warrant a replacement just for tidier cables:()

water cooling just a cpu is a waste of money and no better that a high end air coolers.
Twin 7950 and a 3570 is a completely different story - and with a new case £5-700 away

Save your money - you may find in 3 months that you hardly game any more - or you'll like a three screen setup instead of watercooling

Also stick around and build your post count up - that way you can get some of your loop via MM and save yourself 20-40%
