I'm getting the new asus oled but should I worry about burn in?
My main use will be gaming, movies, youtube , twitch and general internet browsing i.e reddit.
Thanks.

So say I'm watching twitch and then I fall sleep, will twitch or the chrome cause burn in after 5+ hours?
Very unlikely for a one off especially if you leave all the oled care controls on. If you were in the habit of doing that regularly it would be more of a concern. I’d suggest trying to avoid that kind of thing :)

Why would the screen still be on
After 5 hours of inactivity?
That's what turn off display after X amount of inactivity is for
In power options
Are asus giving any sort of burn in warranty?
Think I have only seen dell do it so far

ive used an LG CX 48@ OLED as a monitor for last 2 years no issues with no burn in and 80% productivity 30% gaming i would say Screen is on around 16-18 hours a day 6-7 days a week.

I got no issues with burn in, however my general Brightness is on 30% for eye comfort & stop auto-dimming as im pretty close. id imagine higher cause cause more chance of burn in.

fr productivity my screen has fixed 3 screens on the screen all day (Browser/Terminal/Notes i never move windows to stop burn in.

Not had any issues. Got 42" C2 and as someone above, used mine for mix of work, general use and gaming. About 12-14 hours on average.

Leave OLED care controls on, OLED brightness at 40. Normally windows turns off display (not monitor itself) after 5 mins so it just rotates through those various pictures. No issues so far after a year of use.
