Should Mac and Linux be split?

Seems that as more and more people are moving over to Macs there are more and more Apple related threads. How do the Linux people feel about all the Mac threads in what used to be a 99% Linux forum? In my opinion it is perhaps time to seperate them out as they don't really had that much in common(apart the Unix foundations). It does feel a little like the two are lumped together. Anyone in agreement or is there not enough volume to justify seperate forums?

That's true, but with Bootcamp people can use all of those wonderful USB accessories that OcUK sell...

We could do with a list of all the essential apps, there's plenty of existing threads which can be edited together.
