Should my 480 devil memory be at 2k when its spec is 8k?

Hope someone can advise,

Spec in sig, I dropped my cpu's oc to 4.5ghz due to game stability issues (random freezes/crash to desktop) rather than full system crashes. Game's now seem stable.

The card is running hot, about 80c in game, but apparently that's normal, cpu temps are relatively cold, but the memory speed seems to be reported really slow. Am I missing something? The memory should be running at 8k not 2k?

I've not touched the gpu config, just plugged it in and updated the latest drivers from the amd website.

Thanks

Well I fitted the gpu case fan, and plugged in a front case fan.

Results, no noticeable cpu temp reduction, and about 1 or 2 degrees off the graphics card on average. Gained some fan noise/reverberation though Lol!

Thanks, if 80c is specified as safe and normal then I'm not really bothered, it's just it seems a bit warm for my liking.

I certainly don't want extra fan noise for no reason

Hmm, well the fans are showing full RPM on hwmonitor when gaming, and when idle the temps drop and eventually stop the fans spinning. Assuming 2000rpm is max
