That's my point. They don't value it, even though it is arguably more valuable than the things they are allowed in prison.

Why shouldn't they get the right to vote?
They did a crime, they're doing the time for it. The time is their punishment, not the loss of voting.
How has that prisoner got a) Champagne b) A cigar c) A video camera!?
It's absolutely ricidulous! It makes me so angry that we have all these 'goody two shoes' people about that think it's all about being 'fair'.
Rubbish!

He's not actually a prisoner. He's free despite being a convicted axe murderer.![]()
His conviction is spent. 25 years in jail...

Yes, that's why he's free.![]()

Hard to measure I know but could prisoners earn their vote back via good behaviour, outstanding work inside the prison, etc etc? Rather than just having a blanket - ever prisoner can now vote.

This prison thing is looking like an attractive career choice
Free accommodation, meals, tv, games console, internet, education, gym, no tax, right to vote and on recent news might even get a female officer in uniform to 'sort me out'
And to get all this I just need to kill a few people I don't like, will someone tell me the catch because I'm struggling here![]()
You dont know the half of it.
This is worth a read if you're willing to be educated
