Just put a new ATI HIS 6770 card into a PC for someone, their spec is:
500w OCZ ModXstream PSU
ASUS P5Q-Deluxe
Q6600 (stock clocks)
2x2GB Kingston HyperX 1066mhz
ATI HIS 6770 (stock clocks)
1TB Sata II HDD
Windows 7 x64
This is what I did after putting the card in, uninstalled old drivers, restarted, installed latest drivers off the ATI site, restarted.
Tried a couple of games out like Fifa 12, Driver San Francisco, Sonic Generations and Duke Nukem. All games lagged pretty bad, except Driver - suprisingly Sonic lagged.
I then uninstalled all the drivers, and tried the CD Drivers (which I normally don't touch), same thing card seems rather slow.
Also the Windows Experience Index wont complete, it errors Cannot measure playback performance or something.
Any ideas, have they got a bad card or something, surely the card could handle latest games, they are playing it on a 32" 720p monitor.
Thanks
