Should the DNS numbers be added in the router?

Ive just swaped my isp onto a diff phone line and Ive started to have probs with utorrent not connecting properly. So ive just gone though my router and Ive come across a DNS section, to enter the "Preferred DNS Server" and "Alternate DNS Server". I only put the details for these 2 things in my network adaptor, but Ive just entered this info in the DNS in the router now too, is this right or wrong? My utorrent is connecting fine now, but that could be cos Ive enabled DMZ in the router.

If your network card doesn't either get its settings from the router or use the router for DNS then setting DNS servers on the router will do nothing.
