Hello guys,
I have finally saved £1000 and recently downgraded my PC build to match this price (the odd £30 I can find). So I was wondering should I wait until March for my £1200 and get the PC then or buy it now.
Here's my build;
YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte ATi Radeon HD 7950 Windforce 3X 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE FARCRY3, Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs & 20% off MOH Warfighter PC Games £269.99
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £179.99
1 x Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe (Socket 1155/Intel Z77.DDR3/S-ATA 600/Mini ITX) £149.99
1 x Samsung 250GB SSD 840 SATA 6Gb/s Basic - (MZ-7TD250BW) £149.99
1 x Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C10 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CML16GX3M2A1600C10) £79.99
1 x BitFenix Prodigy 'Yin' Mini-ITX Cube Case - White/Black £64.99
1 x Thermalright Silver Arrow SB E Extreme CPU Cooler TY-143 Fans (Socket 775 / 1155 / 1156 / 1366 / 2011 / AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 / FM1 / FM2) £64.99
1 x Corsair Builder Series CX 600W V2 '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CP-9020048-UK) £56.99
1 x LG GH24NS95 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £18.98
Total : £1,035.90 (includes shipping : FREE).
Originally I had a blu-ray player and an i7 as I had this idea in my head of maybe wanting to do video editing but I just think it is me hesitating to buy this. Also I thought of getting a GTX 670 but people have said the 7950 is faster.
Upgrade or buy now I have no idea.
EDIT: Plus any issues I may come across my main concerns being too large a PSU and heatsink to fit in my case.
Thanks.
