Hello Everyone

Three years ago one of the kind members of the forum helped me spec this PC for my autistic sons 18th birthday I then purchased it from Overclockers. He is 21 in December and he is asking me should it be updated. Any advice would be much appreciated as I am not good with computers. My son loves his pc and uses it every day for gaming .
Thank you in advance for your help.

It is pretty good, should play any current game. No need to change it unless he is playing at 1440p Ultrawide, or 4K or something like that.

21st birthday could get him a 4080 super anything from 50% to100% performance increase in FPS or you may be lucky with the release of Nvidias 5000 series.

All down to how much you want to spend.

Hello again. Glad your son still enjoying gaming. you need to check which games your sons playing regularly, and also is he gaming 1440p still?

A 4070S for £500-550 or 4070tiS / 7900XT if you get for £650 or less would be the only worthwhile upgrade, new GPUs launching end of this year / early next so you could wait for those before doing anything.
