What do you guys and girls think?

Should he sign a new deal or leave arsenal?

has his time for arsenal finally come to an end? can he improve?

Things have stagnated for the last 7-8 years tbh and cant blame people wanting him out.

I think out of Moyes and wenger, Wenger will be the first to go as i dont think he will sign purely because he hasnt signed already and his body language on and off the pitch suggests he is worn out of ideas.

If we can win the fa cup and he buys 3-4 world class players next summer including one of those a striker AND creates a plan B AND fix issues with injuries then i want him to stay.

this side aint far off from winning the PL title tbh.

You dont go half the season on top if you are a **** team and its ironic that our downfall happened as soon as our players started getting injured.

who knows where we would be on the table today if walcott and ramsey was injury free and thats just two players out of a hat full of others who have been injured a long time.

Mods how do i add a poll? a simple yes he will sign and no he wont is sufficient

6-3 v City
5-1 v Liverpool
6-0 v Chelsea
3-0 v Everton

Wenger is finished imo. Some of that team arent even trying for him and those who are actually getting shots in on goal he substitutes them
interesting

and

Arsenal, pathetic. I remember being at the Arsenal 7 Everton 1 game donkeys years ago now. That was when Arsenal/Wenger were playing like the current Everton/Martinez side, flowing attacking football with a solid defence. Years on and Everton have had a top manager for less than one year and are already playing great football while Wenger, with years of experience, complete control of the squad and years to perfect a system is playing massively worse football, with a worse team, that costs over twice as much a season in wages despite the reduction in quality.

Stupid team, stupid players, crap manager, poor system, dodgy defence.

Nothing changed in 8 years, been moving away from how good we were, buying the wrong players. Bunch of midgets with the same type of abilities in general. We have no genuine pace/athletic players for the wings. As in Walcott, made of glass, a midget, no strength and no courage at all is the closest we've got. We have no one genuinely able to beat players down the wing. Sagna received the ball over and over again but if there was a fullback ahead of him he didn't once try to beat them, like Walcott it's a "that looks tough I cba'd" turns and passes backwards every time.

The defence was dodgy and Verm made mistakes, but Mert was out of position way way wider than he should have been almost the entire game, and the main reason Mert was wide right most of the game is because Sagna wasn't anywhere near the defence.

Fullback out of position, cb moves to fill the gap, next cb moves over, other fullback needs to move across. Sagna compromised the defence all game long by being out of defence.

Flamini was terrible marking runs in to the box, as was Arteta. Arsenal don't have the quality to beat big teams, we don't have any powerful/physical players in the squad. The biggest player is Giroud, who is a complete wuss, Walcott is the fastest, but again a complete and utter wuss.

People also completely over rate Ramsey, he made dozens of defensive errors when he was fit and his goals came mostly against, Cardiff(2), Swansea, Norwich, Stoke, Sunderland(2) with a solitary goal against Liverpool making up his entire quota of goals against good opposition.

Ozil is meh, Caz has been terrible for most of the season. We have no quality fullbacks at all and no strikers at all.

if we really wanted martinez we could get him quite comfy especially if we get top 4. EVERTON wont be able to match our offer. heck we dont even need to break the bank to buy out his contract and we can even toss a few of **** players to everton for free

Why would Martinez want to manage a team in the Europa League when he could manage in the CL?

lets face it. everton are a tiny club and will get knocked out on the group stages if they can even qualify and no world class player will want to join everton on 30k per week.

Arsenal have a better financial power, better stadium, more income and money then everton and a better squad.

Martinez at arsenal is a long term gig where he can win the CL/Title and compete with the big boys. Everton he will never ever compete for the title/CL.

no chance.

sorry but thats how it goes. money talks in football

This is something I've wondered for a while and something similar applied to Utd over the last few years. If you're Kroenke, you have no genuine sporting interest in Arsenal, would you allow the club to spend £60-100m in the hope that they can take the next step and seriously challenge for titles? Or would you would sit back and spend little to nothing, knowing you'll make the top 4?

From a financial point of view it's madness for him to spend. You could throw £100m at Arsenal and because of the competition you face, you still might not win the League. And for him/Arsenal to see a return on his/their investment (over and above what they're already earning), Arsenal are going need to seriously establish themselves as a mega club in Europe which'll take years and massive money.

The risk reward ratio for a club like Arsenal is too high when you're owned by somebody like Kroenke. I hope Liverpool never end up in a similar situation.

But most of our failing this season is due to wenger and the coaching staff.

Liverpool have spent less then us yet look where they are in the table.

It just shows that its not all about £££

Wow, you genuinely have no clue about anything.

Did you enjoy watching the "tiny" club tear your club to pieces?

tiny stadium. tiny trophy cabinet, tiny cash revenue etc etc.

Yes a tiny club . You think that when everton go get CL football they can attract and pay salary for world class players?

not a chance in hell.

Moyes and now Martinez have been working on a shoe string budget a lot worse off then wenger's budget.

Tiny tiny everton compared to arsenal. All you see is whats on the pitch . there is much more that defines how large a club is. for instance go abroad outside of europe and ask how many footy fans heard of everton besides when there team(liverpool, arsenal, united) play them and spank them throughout the years.

no one heard of everton. not a global big club.

Nottingham forest have a better history then everton.

Did you seriously say all I'm seeing is what's on the pitch? Considering I'm an Evertonian I know all about the history of the club. You obviously do not. Your knowledge of football is as pathetic as your trollish opinion.

For the record, Everton are the 4th most successful club in English history in terms of league titles, and 5th in terms of overall number of trophies won. Not bad for a tiny club.

everton are a small club. was anyone in this forum born yet when everton if ever won the title lol.

how much revenue do you get compared to arsenal? How much capacity is your tiny stadium? What is your wage bill currently?

All tiny compared to arsenal.

You are delusional if you think everton can attract big stars.

Which in case you have forgotten counted for FA on the pitch Sunday when this so called tiny team you are slating ripped us apart. Also they drew with us when they came to Emirates first time this season. Yes we beat them in the FA Cup but our record this yr against them is nothing to shout about.

Hilarious stuff coming from you..it really is:p

one loss in 15 years i believe?

Our record against everton since you was born has been an embarrassment to everton.

We 9/10 beat them.

Stoke beat us too this season. i guess they are a big club too lol
