Would just like to say thank you to EVGA for the most pleasant manufacturer RMA I've ever had.

Dropped a ticket in as one of my superclocked titan blacks had died. Not 3 days later a replacement card (a TitanX) was in my hands.

No fuss, just sorted.

Now if only they'll improve their aftermarket coolers (and toss the ACX) and start doing custom PCBs on all but the stock cooler cards ;)

But yeah, EVGA always has superb service!! I wonder if they'd do the same for motherboards? I'm comparison, Asus easily takes 7+ weeks for a motherboard RMA... :/

Already decided that my next card will be EVGA if I decide to go with Nvidia. Having a UK address for RMAs is something the rest could do with getting sorted.

I came from an EVGA and it was excellent hardware, however I preferred the custom PCB and much better cooling solution offered by Asus for my current card. That said, Asus RMA policies aren't anywhere near that of EVGA. I think they're the best in that department?

Good customer service like this usually pays off in the long run for manufacturers in my opinion. EVGA's reputation in this regard has me considering them for my next GPU purchase, in spite of the better cooling solutions offered by other manufacturers. Glad your experience went so smoothly OP.

A very nice upgrade there.

So you were running SLI Titan Blacks? Can you SLI a TB with the TX?

No you can't as I found out just a moment ago when I put a ticket in asking why not...

Heres the kicker... EVGA's solution...

Upgrade my second card to a TitanX also!!!!

I think I died and went to hardware heaven.... So one of my Titan Blacks dying has now resulted 2 years later in getting both cards upgraded to TitanX's free of charge....

EVGA just made a customer for life.

Thats very amazing stuff, very amazing of EVGA to do. Suspect they may be low on the blacks, but amazing stuff either way.

This sort of stuff pays off dividends, one of the reason why all my EVGA GPU's are EVGA models even if they cost s few quid more, the warranty and RMA procedure is well worth it.

Are you sure they're giving you a free upgrade for the second one, I ask in disbelief :D

I read the email 3 times to make sure as I couldn't believe it myself.

Mine were the black edition superclocked, I imagine that they probably simply don't have any of those left as they were hard enough to get hold of when they were "current"
