Show FPS in counter strike : source ?

Hey guys,

Ive just had my new card ! - 6800

.

A big step up from my old Radeon 9550, although, it plays oblivion better, and when i knock my settings up to medium on BF2, its gets laggy :S

Any way, i wanna see if it will make a diffrence when playing cs : s.

So can some one please tell me how i get to see my FPS.

I get 60+ fps on my 6600GT. You should get better than that on your card

Vsync makes a FPS lock at 60. Turn it off and see how much you get.

I use net_graph personally because it shows the fps as well as your connection status

is there a command to set ingame refresh rate so that with Vsync you can go higher than 60?? for instance set refresh at 75, thus getting 75 fps?

You could turn vsync off and use fps_max (or max_fps?) to limit the in game frame rate.
