any softwore that will allow me to display my screen on another PC over the network.. (sort of reverse remote access almost)

we want to remote control a PC at the end of the office in some instances (its attached to a large TV) - thats the easy bit....

we also want to work on our laptops while having the contents of the screen (of the laptop) displayed on the TV (over ethernet via the PC)

The laptops have special software on that we want to demo to people but the software cannot be installed on the PC (or we could jsut user the remote control to load what ever on the PC)
 
I use VNC for this, just start the VNC client on the pc with the big screen, and connect back into your laptop which is running VNC server.

I have been using TightVNC for a number of years, and its pretty good at this, and free to download as well.
 
Another alternative is Splashtop: http://www.splashtop.com/remote

I use it so I can still be on my desktop while I'm on my laptop... if that makes sense :p. Much better than teamviewer in my opinion as it retains the full quality and also streams sound.
